  •   Software Technical Support Manager

    RCS, the leader in digital technology, is accepting applications for a full time opening for a Software Technical Support Manager. The qualified candidate must be able to demonstrate an ability to maintain and promote high levels of satisfaction from the customer base.

    We are looking for a self-starter that can think on their feet and make independent, and sometimes critical, decisions in a short amount of time. Applicants must be able to work independently and with a team. This is a full-time exempt position serving the fast past Radio Broadcast industry.

    Qualifications
    A qualified applicant should have the following training, educations, certifications, and/or equivalent on the job experience:
    * Strong people management skills, organizational, communication and grammar skills
    * Ability to travel at least 10% of the time; travel is reimbursable to the employee upon receipt of expense report
    * 3+ years management experience in a call center environment is desired
    * Strong customer service processes evaluation and process improvement skills
    * Technical and/or broadcast systems experience is a plus, especially the RCS NexGen or Zetta digital playout packages.
    * Experience in hiring, developing, training and motivating a team
    * Demonstrated commitment to superior customer service and high quality standards
    * Ability to work in a fast paced environment handling multiple projects simultaneously
    * Knowledge of ACD reports and other key metrics associated with call centers, experience with Mitel and Prairie Fyre technologies a plus.

    Duties & Responsibilities
    * Maintain and improve current customer relationships.
    * Evaluate customer satisfaction and manage a process of continuous improvement for customer service.
    * Design, implement, evaluate and institute a progressive training program to increase the skill and knowledge level of the customer service representatives.
    * Manages departmental budget and has the ability to provide input for cost analysis, planning and budgeting.
    * Manages employee performance; including employee evaluations and employee improvement.
    * Manage, develop, motivate and lead the Software Support staff to facilitate an environment where employees are willing to initiate process improvements.
    * Implements and monitors call center quality control procedures.
    * Conducts regular meetings with the team in order to motivate, communicate and receive feedback regarding commonly-addressed customer service issues.
    * Reviews daily reports and respond quickly as needed.
    * Creates positive energy and enthusiasm through on-going training and motivation of staff.
    * Provide daily coaching to staff in order to reinforce and manage operational standards, policies and procedures.
    * Other duties as assigned.

  •   Technical Support Engineer

    Summary: This position is located in RCS' Ogallala Nebraska office. Provides technical assistance and training for RCS' World class digital playout software, NexGen Digital and Zetta.

    Applicant will foster an advanced technical work environment by performing the following duties. All applicants should have experience with Windows Operating systems, remote software such as VNC. A radio background is helpful but not mandatory. Digital Playout software and training on its troubleshooting methods will be provided.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Includes the following and other duties may be assigned.

    The Support Engineer assists customers, fellow techs, and service personnel in the installation, training and support of software, hardware, and related 3rd party peripheral components. These include but are not limited to files servers, commercial grade workstations, networking switches, NICs, monitors, KVMs, and radio equipment located at the user's premises.

    Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.

    Customer Service - Manages difficult or at times, emotional customer situations; Responds promptly to customer needs; Solicits customer feedback to improve service; Responds to requests for service and assistance; Meets commitments.

    Written Communication - Writes clearly and informatively; Edits work for spelling and grammar; Varies writing style to meet needs; Presents numerical data effectively; Able to read and interpret written information.

    Education and/or Experience
    A combination of education and experience will be considered.

  •   .NET Developer

    RCS, a software developer for Radio, has an immediate opportunity for Programmers with more than 2 years experience with C#/.NET to join a dynamic development team.

    The candidate must have proven experience in .NET Framework 3.5/4.0, C#, .NET Windows Forms, .NET Web Services, ADO.NET, ASP.NET, XML/XSLT, Visual Studio 2008/2010 and SQL Server 2005/2008. WCF and WPF, and/or JQuery and Javascript experience would be a plus.

    Experience in the following areas is desirable: C++, COM/DCOM, Multi-tier Architectures, Windows Programming, Design Patterns, Microsoft Patterns and Practices, and Developer Express Tools.

    The candidate will be a member of a tight team using the Scrum agile development methodology and must have a strong sense of team spirit and commitment in addition to Microsoft.NET skills.

  •   Florical Customer Support Field Engineer

    The primary focus for Customer Support Field Engineers is traveling to customer sites to install new automation systems, upgrade old systems, troubleshoot software and hardware issues, and train staff on the system. Travel to customer sites will generally be around 50% to 70% of the job. When not at a customer site, Field Engineers are expected to help with Customer Support calls and assignments.

    The skills required for this position include a broad knowledge of computers (hardware and software), operating systems (Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008), and networking (DNS, TCP/IP, Active Directory). A working knowledge of MS SQL is very helpful. A background in broadcast television engineering or Master Control operations is helpful, but not required. Experience with conducting training sessions is a major plus.

  •   Team Lead - Zetta Project

    Worksite Location: 214 N. Spruce St., Ogallala, Nebraska 69153

    Work Schedule: Full-time; Monday – Friday 08:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

    Job Duties: Conduct, lead and coordinate the software development activities for the software development team. Create and manage a work plan; establish priorities for changes to products; plan developer tasks; make key design decisions relating to technology; and provide architectural directions for changes to software products. Utilize knowledge of and be able to stay up-to-date on new technology from Microsoft, such as WPF, WCF, Visual Studio, C#, .NET Frameworks, DirectX, and Windows API.

    Minimum Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.

    Minimum Acceptable Years of Experience: 5 years of progressive experience in the job offered OR 5 years of progressive experience as a Software Engineer.

    Special Requirements: Domestic travel up to 20%.
